ISLAMIC LIBRARY

The Library of Mohra Sharif serves as a digital sanctuary of sacred wisdom, where the fragrance of Divine Love (Ishq) meets the illumination of Sacred Knowledge (Ilm). This repository is dedicated to preserving the literary legacy of the Qasimiya order, providing seekers across the globe with the spiritual maps needed to navigate the path of Nisbat-e-Rasooli. These publications are far more than mere ink and paper; they are spiritual vessels carrying the Barakah of the Mashaikh, serving as essential companions for every traveler seeking the Divine Presence.

Within this collection, the scholarly works and spiritual manuals offer profound guidance for the modern soul. The Tafseer-e-Quran, authored by Hazrat Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (RA), transcends conventional linguistic analysis to reveal the Quranic heart through the lens of Prophetic Love. Complementing this is the Nisbat-e-Rasooli manifesto, which serves as the primary manual for the order. It teaches the vital science of Zikr required to repair the broken link between the seeker and the Creator, emphasizing that a heart without this sacred connection is like a lamp awaiting the oil of grace.

In the tradition of the great Sufi poets like Rumi and Jami, Alhaj Pir Dr. Gohar Nazir Gohar Sahib uses the medium of verse to express the inexpressible mysteries of Divine Love through his profound Diwans. Works such as Arzo-e-Natamam take the reader on a journey through the valleys of sacred longing, while Rang-e-Jan and Khial Rung explore the spiritual aesthetics that paint the heart with the colors of devotion. His poetry is unique in its ability to employ classical Sufi metaphors while remaining deeply accessible to the modern mind, acting as a form of spiritual surgery that heals the ego through the transformative beauty of words.

Mohra Sharif - A Sanctuary of Divine Love and Nisbat-e-Rasooli ﷺ

Housed in the serene pine forests of the Murree Hills, Mohra Sharif stands as a luminous center of Sufi spirituality, divine remembrance, and love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Established in the late nineteenth century, Mohra Sharif is the center of the profound philosophy of Nisbat-e-Rasooli ﷺ—a path that seeks closeness to Allah through complete devotion, love, and following sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ.

The spiritual journey of Mohra Sharif began with Ghaus-ul-Ummat Hazrat Pir Muhammad Qasim Sahib (Baba Ji Sarkar) (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), a saint of exceptional spiritual rank, whose deep devotion, ascetic life, and tireless efforts laid the foundation of this sacred center. His spiritual struggles and unwavering focus on the Oneness of Allah transformed a remote forest into a beacon of faith, guidance, and divine mercy.

This sacred mission was carried forward by Ghos-ul-Moazzam, Rahbar-e-Azam Silsila Nisbat Rasooli, Aala Hazrat Al-Haaj Pir Nazir Ahmed Sahib (Sarkar Mohrvi) (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), who articulated and established the philosophy of Nisbat-e-Rasooliﷺ  as the core of the Sufi path—calling seekers beyond sectarian divisions toward the moral, spiritual, and practical example of the Prophet ﷺ. His teachings emphasized humility, unity, self-purification, and service to humanity.

Under the leadership of Sher Shah Ghazi, Salaar-e-Aala Silsila Nisbat Rasooli, Al-Haaj Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), Mohra Sharif expanded its spiritual reach across continents. Known for his deep adherence to the Sunnah and lifelong devotion, he transformed Mohra Sharif into a global spiritual powerhouse. Pir Haroon-ur-Rasheed Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) authored a Tafseer of the Holy Qur’an titled Haqaeq-ul-Qur’an, in which the verses of the Qur’an are explained through the spiritual lens of Nisbat-e-Rasooli ﷺ, highlighting a unique perspective rooted in love and devotion to the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Gohar Nazir Gohar Sahib and Shahzada Ghulam Muhammad Jamal Nazir Sahib are the sons of Sher Shah Ghazi Al-Haaj Pir Haroon Rasheed Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). Following the continuation of the spiritual lineage, the leadership was entrusted to Khadim-e-Islam, Qutb-ul-Irshad, Ameer Silsila Nisbat Rasooli  ﷺ, Al-Haaj Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Gohar Nazir Gohar Sahib, who has since been serving the Ummah through spiritual guidance, social welfare initiatives, and dedicated service to humanity, in accordance with the philosophy of Nisbat-e-Rasooli ﷺ.

Today, under the guidance of Al-Haaj Pir Dr. Gohar Nazir Gohar, Mohra Sharif continues to flourish as a living Sufi institution—harmonizing deep spirituality with selfless service and ancient tradition with modern understanding. The spiritual calendar of the Darbar is marked by significant gatherings of devotion and remembrance.

Central to these are the two major annual URS congregations: the grand gathering in June commemorates the legacies of Aala Hazrat Al-Haaj Pir Nazeer Ahmed Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) and Sher Shah Ghazi Hazrat Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), while the November URS is dedicated to the founder, Ghous-ul-Ummat Hazrat Baba Ji Muhammad Qasim Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ).

In addition to these grand festivals, the Darbar observes solemn days of Quran Khawani (recitation) for the Esal-e-Sawab (spiritual benefit) of the Holy Mashaikh. Every year on the 16th and 17th of January, a special assembly is held in honor of the sacrifices and devotion of the Great Mothers (Ummahat) of the Central Darbar-e-Aalia Mohra Sharif and Silsila Nisbat Rasooli ﷺ. This is followed by a commemorative gathering on February 28th for the “Sher Shah Ghazi,” Hazrat Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), and another on July 23rd in blessed memory of Aala Hazrat Pir Nazeer Ahmed (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ).

The weekly spiritual rhythm of the order remains a source of constant nourishment for seekers. Every Friday, the soulful Mehfil-e-Aurad-e-Naziriya is held at the central Darbar in Mohra Sharif, Murree, while every Saturday, the light of this gathering is extended to the capital at Aastana Alia, Islamabad, located on Old Embassy Road. Through these circles of remembrance and recitation, the connection between the seeker and the Divine remains ever-vibrant.

Ghos-ul-Ummat Hazrat Pir Muhammad Qasim Sahib (Baba Ji Sarkar) (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ)

Founding Father & Ghaus-ul-Ummat (1845–1943) Hazrat Khawaja Muhammad Qasim Sahib (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was a descendant of the Kayani royal family of Iran and descendants of King Kabul Shah of Afghanistan.

Born into a lineage of spiritual excellence, he completed his formal Islamic education in

Fiqh and Shariah by the age of twenty. Driven by a thirst for divine knowledge and spiritual truth, Baba Ji Sarkar traversed the vast landscape of the Indian subcontinent. After absorbing the “oceans of gnosis” (ilm-o-irfan) within himself, he reached the pinnacle of spiritual mastery. At this stage, acting under the direct spiritual command of his mentor (Murshid), Khawaja Nizamuddin Aulia of Kahiyan Sharif, he migrated to the remote, dense wilderness of the Murree Hills.

Establishing himself by a mountain stream, he turned away from the world to focus the hearts of humanity back toward their Creator. His presence acted as a lighthouse; the brilliance of his spiritual light illuminated the hearts of millions, purging their minds of doubt and uncertainty, and replacing them with a profound, God-conscious certainty.

The “spiritual seedlings” he planted during that time have now grown into a global forest, stretching far beyond the borders of Pakistan to every corner of the world. Today, the spiritual fragrance of his mission continues to enchant the souls of seekers, while the echoes of Zikr-e-Jehr (vocal remembrance of Almighty Allah)—which he initiated to revive deadened hearts—now resonate through the continents of Europe and US.

Ghos-ul-Moazzam, Rahbar-e-Azam Silsila Nisbat Rasooli, Aala Hazrat Al-Haaj Pir Nazir Ahmad Sahib (Sarkar Mohrvi) رحمۃ اللہ علیہ

The Architect of Nisbat-e-Rasooli (1880–1960)

Aala Hazrat Al-Haaj Pir Nazeer Ahmed Sahib (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ), the eldest son of Baba Ji Sarkar, was a figure of immense spiritual and intellectual stature. Destined for greatness, he was described by his father as being “eighteen spiritual stations ahead” of him. His upbringing was a rare fusion of academic excellence—mastering Arabic, Hadith, and Persian—and physical mastery in horsemanship and weaponry. However, his true strength was forged during twelve years of rigorous spiritual seclusion (Chilla) in the wilderness.

A defining moment of his life occurred in 1935 when, upon his father’s spiritual command, he renounced a life of worldly kingship in Yaghistan. Choosing divine service over a throne, he returned to the rocky valleys of Mohra Sharif to lead the Ummah.

As the visionary behind the Nisbat-e-Rasooli mission, he sought to unite a fragmented Ummah by focusing on the “Powerhouse”—the Holy Prophet ﷺ. He famously taught that a seeker’s heart is like a lightbulb; no matter its beauty, it cannot shine without a direct connection (Nisbat) to the Prophetic light. His life’s mission was “repairing the broken link between the Creator and the Created.” He envisioned his followers as a “necklace of pearls” laid at the feet of the Messenger ﷺ on the Day of Judgment, embodying a legacy of universal love and spiritual restoration.

Sher Shah Ghazi, Salaar-e-Aala Silsila Nisbat Rasooli, Al-Haaj Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ)

Hazrat Pir Haroon-ur-Rashid Sahib (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ), the grandson of Baba Ji Sarkar, served as the spiritual leader of Mohra Sharif for over sixty years after being appointed successor by Ghaus-ul-Moazzam Aala Hazrat Al-Haaj Pir Nazir Ahmed Sahib (رحمۃ اللہ علیہ) in 1960. A portrait of unwavering discipline and humility, he famously performed the Hajj pilgrimage every year for over six decades, embodying a life of absolute trust in Almighty Allah (Tawakkul) and was steadfast guardian of the Sunnah, performing the sacred Hajj pilgrimage every signle year for over sixty years.

Under his visionary leadership, the Nisbat-e-Rasooli mission expanded globally, reaching over 10 million followers across the UK, USA, Canada, and Africa. He transformed the shrine into an international center for spiritual healing, his weekly sermons (compiled in tafseer of Holy Quran, comprising five volumes) in Mohra Sharif and Islamabad were not merely speeches; they were spiritual surgeries that “cleansed the hearts of millions from doubt and uncertainty,” replacing them with the light of Irfan (divine gnosis)

Despite his immense global influence, he remained profoundly humble, viewing himself merely as a servant of his predecessors’ legacy. He taught that true spiritual success lies in a direct, living connection to the Holy Prophet ﷺ, famously seeking to lead his followers like a “necklace of pearls” into the Prophetic presence on the Day of Judgment. His passing in 2022 marked the end of an era, leaving behind a legacy of universal peace, piety, divine Love and Nisbat Rasooli ﷺ and an illuminated path for future generations of the Qasimiya order.

His literary masterpieces, such as Arzo-e-Natamam, Khial Rung and Rang-e-Jan, translate the intricate depths of Naatia Kalam and Sufi gnosis into a language that resonates with the modern heart. Under his compassionate leadership, Mohra Sharif flourishes as a dual sanctuary: a haven for humanitarian relief and a powerhouse of the Nisbat-e-Rasooli ﷺ order. By harmonizing the demands of the contemporary world with the sacred traditions of the Qasimiya Naziria Haroonia order, he continues to “repair the broken connection,” guiding souls back to the Divine Presence with love, light, and healing.
